We needed a water heater replacement at our home in Raleigh, and Modern Plumbing and Backflow handled the full install. Nate was the technician who came out. He showed up on time, walked us through the old unit versus the new one, and explained what was failing before he started any work.
The water heater installation itself was clean and straightforward. Nate shut the system down, removed the old tank, set the new water heater, checked the gas and water connections, and tested everything before he left. He also went over the shutoff valves, the temperature setting, and what to watch for in the first few days. The work area was left tidy, and we had hot water the same day.
What stood out was how clear the process was. Pricing was explained up front, the install matched what we were quoted, and Nate answered questions without rushing us. For a licensed plumbing company doing a water heater install in Raleigh, this was the experience we wanted: on time, code-conscious, and no mess left behind.

Nate was excellent! A Great Communicator! Answered all my questions and explained everything he was doing and why. Felt like he put extra effort in helping us get our hot water back up and working. Thank You Nate! We had a service contract with Duke Energy which covered almost all of the cost of replacement of the defective water heater. We are Senior Citizens and appreciate how we were treated.
